Expect More. Experience Better.

The Piedmont Disposal Story

Piedmont Disposal began with one truck, a few dumpsters, and a simple belief: do good work, and take care of people. In 1999, Kevin J. Long founded the company with a commitment to hard work, honesty, and community. That same year, he put those principles into motion—driving the truck himself, answering customer calls and doing whatever it took to get the job done right. In 2017, Kevin was diagnosed with ALS. Though his health declined, his work ethic never did. He kept showing up daily, leading with quiet strength and passing that legacy on to his son, Mack, who now leads the business. Kevin passed away in June 2019, but his values live on in every employee, every clean portajon and every satisfied customer.

At Piedmont Disposal, we’re more than a waste management company—we’re a dedicated partner, committed to providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships. Our guiding philosophy, "Expect More. Experience Better," is more than a slogan; it's a daily standard. Whether you're renting a dumpster, setting up portable restrooms, or seeking custom recycling solutions, our team works tirelessly to exceed your expectations.

Our Core Values

Safety

The safety of our team, our customers, and the communities we serve comes first. We maintain our equipment rigorously, invest in training, and uphold the highest safety standards.

Pursuit of Excellence

From operations to customer service, we are always looking to improve. Innovation, accountability, and a drive to deliver the best experience define how we move forward.

Doing What Is Right

We believe in doing what’s right—even when it’s hard. That means honest communication, ethical practices, and respect for our customers, employees, and environment.

Ownership

Every team member at Piedmont Disposal takes pride in their role. From the front office to the field, we all own our work and impact and don’t cut corners.

The People Behind the Service

Our team of professionals understands that in this business, how you do something matters just as much as what you do. They are trained, motivated, and committed to bringing a positive, respectful attitude to every interaction. That means showing up on time, keeping equipment spotless and ensuring every customer experience reflects our pride in our work.

Our "super clean green trucks" are more than just a brand signature—they represent our care and attention to every detail. We maintain our portable restrooms to the highest standard of cleanliness because we believe every customer deserves a hygienic, comfortable, and dignified experience—whether on a construction site or at a public event.

At Piedmont Disposal, we carry forward a legacy built on hard work, family values and a commitment to doing things correctly. We’re proud to be the trusted partner for thousands of customers across the Piedmont Triad—and we’re just getting started.

Let’s get to work.
